August 21-23 - New Brunswick Kennel Club Shows
On August 21st at the NBKC shows, still undefeated at the breed level, COONEY (Myanka's Hunk du Jour) takes the Breed again under judge Miss Virginia L. Lyne for another 3 points and becomes Myanka's first homebred champion from our first ever litter.

On Sunday, our new baby girl TARA (Genson's Cara Mia), only 10 month-old and insisting on "doing it her way" (!!!), wins a group 4th under judge Dr Richard Meen. She finishes the weekend with 6 points towards her championship. Not bad for a puppy . . . Tara is co-owned by her breeders Roxanne Ogden and Bonnie O'Brien (Genson's Kennels, NB)

May 8-9, 2010 - Cooney's Debut ! ! !
On May 8th, 2010 in Moncton, COONEY (Myanka's Hunk du Jour) the 10-month male from our first ever litter, appeared in his first show and he made us proud here at Myanka. This was the Eastern Canada Dachshund Club Atlantic Booster and he won the Breed over specials for 3 points. He won the Breed again the next day and finished the 2-day show weekend with 5 points toward his championship, confirming in my mind that he is, indeed, a HUNK ! ! !
